I Know Everything!
“We’re almost home!” My daughter exclaimed as the car entered our village one evening after attending the service at church.
“How did you know?” Dad curiously asked.
“Because I know everything, dad!” The little girl said in a matter-of-factly tone.
We all exchanged looks and burst out laughing.
It was hilarious hearing it from a little girl who just turned 3 years old, wasn’t it?
Let’s fast forward to 10 years or say, 15 years…
I don’t think any parent would be delighted to hear something like this from a teenage daughter when you tell her she’s not allowed to go on a date, that dating at such an early age is not a good idea, that she needs to finish her studies first, that you are just trying to protect her, and so on. Your teenager would probably snap and say, “I know what I am doing, mom! I can protect myself!”
Oh. em. geeee!
Just the thought of it scares me to death!

we have to train them while they are young
enjoy them too!
Couldn’t agree more! It is very important that we train and pray for them coz we will not always be there to protect them.
Showing worth emulating attitude works best
wow! omg too! i have adaughter also just bringing her to the bus stop and watch her school bus going is already scary for me haha xx
